With over 30 years in the hair and beauty industry and a teaching background spanning over 25 years, Shelley decided to launch her own training academy Jan 2020. Shelley previously owned 2 salons and 1 spa specialising in many different treatment areas alongside a children’s pamper party business. After leaving the industry to home educate her daughter, Shelley is back to educate others. During lockdown, Shelley used her time wisely to update her teaching qualifications and studied for The Level 4 Certificate in Education and The Level 5 Diploma in Education as well as completing her studies for the NHS to become part of the Covid-19 vaccination programme. Alongside this, when normality finally resumed, Shelley also updated her practical skills by refreshing her aesthetics qualifications to gain two further VTCT Level 4 Qualifications in Laser, IPl and Skin Rejuvenation treatments, VTCT Level 4 Skin Blemish Removal and the Qualifi Level 5 Aesthetics Qualification. Now enrolled on the Level 5 Skin Blemish Award , Level 5 Tattoo Removal, with a view to progress to Level 7 Aesthetics, she continues her studies.
Shelley treats her patients within a private medical spa in Havant, still works as a vaccinator for the NHS, private phlebotomist and takes an enormous amount of pride in educating the future professionals of her industry. Shelley has an amazing team of educators with her, that provide over 100 years of experience in industry and education.
