his is an OFQUAl regulated Level 3 Qualification
Open to all medical sectors and non medical aesthetic practitioners
You have 3 units to complete:
- Phlebotomy Principles and Practice
- Phlebotomy Procedures
- Paediatric Phlebotomy
You will be provided with pre learning material and need to attend 2 days practical sessions.
These days will be split into DAY 1 for for theory and practical and DAY 2 for assessments

The aim of the Focus Awards Level 3 Award in Phlebotomy (RQF) is to develop learner knowledge, understanding, and skills in conducting phlebotomy procedures.
Qualification Structure
To successfully complete the Focus Awards Level 3 Award in Phlebotomy (RQF), learners must complete 3 mandatory units, to achieve 7 credits.
Learner Entry Requirements
Focus Awards does not set any other entry requirements, but additional criteria may be requested or specified by the centre.
Progression Routes
Learners wishing to progress from this qualification can undertake the following qualifications: • Level 3 Diploma in Adult Care • Level 4 Diploma in Adult Care
Age Ranges Entry is at the discretion of the centre. However, learners should be at least 18 to undertake this qualification. Geographical Coverage This qualification is available in England.
