The Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement is a practical-based qualification intended for those who assess both occupational competence in the work environment, and vocational skills, knowledge and understanding in environments other than the workplace (i.e. workshop, classroom or other training environment).
Units in this qualification have been mapped to the relevant NOS (where applicable). This qualification is regulated on the Regulated Qualifications Framework. This qualification is approved and supported by
the Learning and Skills Improvement Service (LSIS), the sector-owned body for the learning and skills sector.
This qualification provides progression opportunities directly into employment as an assessor of occupational competence in the workplace and vocationally related achievement in non-work environments.
The VTCT Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement also provides progression opportunities towards Level 4 studies for assessors looking to pursue a career in internal verification, including:
