Assessment Methods
This qualification is internally assessed. Each learner must create a portfolio of evidence that
demonstrates achievement of all the learning outcomes and assessment criteria associated with each
unit.
The main pieces of evidence for the portfolio could include some or all of the following:
• Assessor observation
• Witness testimony
• Learner product
• Worksheets
• Assignments / projects / reports
• Record of oral and written questioning
• Learner and peer reports
• Recognition of prior learning (RPL)
Grading
This qualification is graded on a ‘Pass’ / ‘Fail’ basis.
Qualification Structure
To successfully complete the Focus Awards Level 5 Certificate in Advanced Mesotherapy for Skin
Rejuvenation (RQF) learners must complete 4 mandatory units, to achieve 20 credits.

1. Management of Health and Safety, and Infection Control Protocols for Aesthetic Procedures
2. Advanced Consultation, Skin Analysis and Assessment for Aesthetic Treatments
3. Anatomy and Physiology
4. Advanced Mesotherapy for Skin Rejuvenation
You can complete the assignments via distance learning
We require you to produce case studies from your own clinic and attend the academy for practical assessments
