To achieve Focus Award Level 3 Diploma in Permanent Tattooing (RQF), Learners must achieve a total of 50 credits. Learner must achieve 47 credits from the mandatory and a minimum of 3 credits from the optional units.
Focus Awards does not set any other entry requirements, but additional criteria may be requested or specified by the centre.
Learners wishing to progress from this qualification can undertake the following qualifications: • Focus Awards Level 4 Certificate in Micropigmentation (RQF) • Focus Awards Level 5 Diploma in Tattoo Removal (RQF)
Entry is at the discretion of the centre. However, learners should be aged 18 to undertake this qualification.
YOU WILL STUDY:
Monitor and maintain health and safety practice in the studio
Understand human Anatomy and Physiology
Principles of permanent tattooing
Provide black, white and grey tattooing
Provide colour tattooing
Provide shading and shadowing tattooing
Must be 18 years of age – No prerequisites needed
Full kit included (Mast tour Machine, Cartridges, Inks, Fake practice skins and all disposables required for the course)
